  • The $249 WiFi Nomiku sous vide circulator lets you use an app to send cook times and temperatures to the device. Food from meals cooked with the Nomiku come out to the correct doneness
  • The countertop kitchen gadget is a lot bulkier and more cumbersome than its slimmer, Wi-Fi-less predecessor. The app is sparse when it comes to sous-vide guides and tips
  • The WiFi Nomiku lacks the sleekness and ease of use that we've seen with similar, less expensive sous vide circulators...

  • Zusammenfassung:  You can learn a lot in a month and a half if you really put your mind to it. Prior to the arrival of the Nomiku, the immersion circulator with the cute name, I had never cooked sous vide (French for under pressure, if you missed the previous six articles)...

  • Nomiku is stylish, simple, and easy to use. Every thing we cooked with it tasted fantastic
  • At $300 (£186, AU$340), it's priced above equally legitimate sous vide competitors. Also, the design isn't the greatest if you're planning on slow cooking for multiple days
  • The Nomiku is a great kitchen gadget, but it's the wrong time to buy one. Shop around for a cheaper competitor -- or hold out for Nomiku 2.0....
