The additional controls on the new iPod Shuffle mean you'll be able to pause, skip and rewind through all your music, without having to resort to remote control based buttons.Despite being more squat than the previous iPod Shuffle, Apple's latest wonder remains every bit as slender, and usability is better than ever. The clip is easier to use, making the Shuffle the perfect device for exercise fa
Unlike the slightly bigger iPod Nano, you won't be able to select individual songs over playlists – as there's no screen on the Shuffle. Apple has binned the earphone-mounted controls, so you'll have to pay extra if you want buttons closer to your ears. At 2GB, capacity is also somewhat limited.
A stylish, well made and incredibly small music player, you'll like the iPod Shuffle if you're after a bargain MP3 player for your daily workout. If you want an extra bit of control or more storage, however, it's worth looking at the new iPod Nano. Bes...

The iPod Shuffle includes a sturdy built-in clip; support for playlists, audiobooks, podcasts, Genius Mixes; and a multilingual VoiceOver feature that announces track information, battery status, and menu navigation
The 2GB capacity can't hold much; there's no headphone remote nor radio; the track controls tend to get pinched when clipping the iPod to your clothes; and the chances of you accidentally running it through the washing machine are quite high
The Apple iPod Shuffle is an adorable way to take your favorite songs on the go, but sometimes it's too small for its own good....
VoiceOver button, longer battery life, return of physical playback controls
Difficult to determine exact battery level, no hold feature, only 2GB model available, no in-line controls on headphones
Apple's fourth-generation iPod Shuffle is a sleek and easy-to-use device, largely thanks to the return of the controls offered by the first- and second-generation Shuffles. The VoiceOver feature is also a big winner...
