Zusammenfassung: We liked the look of the original Sandy Bridge-based Samsung Series 9 laptop, so the slimmer, even-more-lightweight Ivy Bridge-powered model had us salivating when we saw it at a preview in Sydney last month. But as always, the question with laptops is...
Gorgeous 1600x900 PLS screen. Very slim and light. Good keyboard and touch pad
Only one USB 3.0 port. Adapters not included for micro video ports. Backlit keyboard needs to be brighter. Battery life could be improved. Touch-pad driver takes ages to load on first boot, meaning some functions aren't available for at least 30 seconds
There are some small concerns, but the new Samsung Series 9 is an absolute pleasure to use....

Samsung's Series 9 (NP900X3C-A01AU) is a stunning laptop that's superbly built, has an excellent screen and which feels good to use. It's the thinnest notebook on the market and among the lightest. Even so, it runs an Intel Ivy Bridge CPU that supplies...
Unbelievably well built, Stunning form factor, Slimness defies all common logic, Very good system performance, Excellent battery life, Crisp & bright display
Costs a hell lot of money, Heats up quite a bit
The Samsung Series 9 is one of the most amazing laptops that we have tested recently. It has everything to be called an ultrabook, yet it has been branded as a notebook by Samsung. Nevertheless, the blazing performance, the ultra slim form factor and the ...
Solid build quality; display has excellent viewing angles.
Pricey.
As far as Ultrabooks go, the Samsung Series 9 has got to be right up there near the top of the heap, as it looks good, feels solid and most importantly, has a very impressive high-resolution screen. Too many notebooks these days skimp on the quality o...
Good Build Quality, Extremely thin and light form factor, Bright and sharp matte screen, Large Clickpad
Shallow keyboard, Only 128GB SSD for storage, Only 2 USB ports (1 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0)
Of course, that's not to say the original Series 9 notebooks were perfect, as we did note design aspects that could be improved. We took special note of those while evaluating the new Samsung Series 9 (2012) edition. So what has changed or not changed? Wh...
