Faster than GeForce GTX 1070 FE, ~30% lower power than Vega 64, Great 1440p performance
Higher power consumption than GTX 1070, Cooling fan is loud under load, Uncertain value given volatile pricing
Radeon RX Vega 56 has the potential to be a GeForce GTX 1070 killer if AMD can make enough of them to hit its pricing target. Although the card uses a lot of power, kicks out quite a bit of heat, and makes more noise than the competition under load, p...

Vega 64 is slightly slower than the GTX 1080, while the liquid cooled version wins more than it loses against the GTX 1080
Poor availability and thus pricing. AMD's aircooled RX Vega 64 reference card is ~5% slower than the GTX 1080 FE despite being hotter, louder and using more power (though we have high hopes for custom cards)
After gaming with the AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 we are left with a better feeling compared to AMD Radeon RX Vega 64. We are not left wanting. Performance is good at default, providing better performance and gameplay experience compared to Founders Edition GeF...

Given the slightly underhanded way in which AMD launched the Vega at one price point so that the launch reviews were written under the misapprehension that the card was £449 when it's actually £549, we won't do our usual thing of not really taking the pri...

Bringing this review to a close, if it feels like Vega has been a long time coming, it's not just your imagination. AMD first unveiled the Vega name 17 months ago, and it was 7 months ago when we got our first peek into the Vega architecture. So today's l...
The AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 and the GeForce GTX 1070 is supposedly the sweet spot for three Vega cards released by AMD thus far. AMD is banking that the Vega 56 will be the high-performance card to buy at the $399 price point once it starts shipping on Augu...

Competitive with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, Vega 56 Radeon Red Pack may add sweetener for some buyers
Lags behind the GTX 1070 on some titles (a few older games at 1080p, in our tests), High TDP and power requirements versus competing Nvidia cards
AMD's stepped-down $399 Vega card is a solid alternative to Nvidia's similarly priced GeForce GTX 1070, making it a good fit for no-compromise 1440p gaming. (Nvidia still has a strong lead on power efficiency, though.) Read More...
Faster than the GeForce GTX 1070, Much more power efficient than RX Vega 64, Quieter than RX Vega 64, Enhanced Sync works amazingly well, FreeSync at no increased monitor cost, New instructions, packed math, primitive shaders, Simplified tuning profiles i
Higher power draw than comparable NVIDIA cards, Noisy, Coil noise at high FPS, Fan does not stop in idle
The AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 is expected to retail for $399. Faster than the GeForce GTX 1070 Much more power efficient than RX Vega 64 Quieter than RX Vega 64 Enhanced Sync works amazingly well FreeSync at no increased monitor cost New instructions, pa...

Solid performance across the board. 8GB of HBM 2 memory should prove useful in the long term. Matches the current performance value king, the GTX 1070, which is no small feat. Modern DX12 architecture. Freesync gaming, yea
Vega seems to be less efficient than Nvidia's Pascal. We were expecting a bit more from the late challenger
Oh yes, I'll state it again. Personally I do appreciate Vega 56 better compared to the 64. Vega 56 offers and is a better proposition at 399 USD. That money just feels right for what you get. It's more or less 10% slower than the 64 (air-cooled model) yet...
